Champions...Again!
About 8 hours ago my hometown team (Tampa Bay Lightning) won the Stanley Cup. I was fortunate to be at the game (it was amazing). My football team (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) actually won the Super Bowl only 2 years ago. I was fortunate to have been at the game when they won it and it was awesome being at this game when the city gets to celebrate another championship.
I just got home at 7:20am! I was caught up in the festivities and the entire city partying in the streets. It was really fun to be a part of. (No, I didn't get in any trouble!) :-)
Sports marketing (which I plan on getting into in more detail later) is pretty amazing to be able to affect so many people with absolute CHAOS over a simple "game."

Not bad! 2 of John's favorite teams win it all within 3 years, and my Cubbies, Colts, and Pacers break my heart every year. Always close, but no cigar. :-)

I know how you feel. John's Bucs beat my Raiders, and my Sharks didn't make it as well.

Hahaha, Lorrie, are you kidding!? I *hate* the Lakers. The Pistons are actually playing like a TEAM and not a bunch of whining all-stars like the Lakers. The Pistons definitely deserve to win this series and hopefully they will.
