This Is Your Blog

As you can tell, I haven't been posting to this blog very much. I've been too busy running my own Internet businesses, but also, it's hard to just write for the sake of writing. Especially when I really don't know exactly what YOU want to learn more about.

So...

I'm ASKING you... what would you like to know more about? After all, this is YOUR blog. So post some comments about what you'd like to see me teach more about, and I'll start teaching it. Fair enough? :)

Comments

Hi John,

Thanks for letting us take over your blog...

Here are my questions for you:

1. Can you explain in details about your due diligence research when looking to create new infoproducts?

2. What are your marketing strategies for marketing infoproducts in a competitive are. (Similar to the one of the products suggested in the Reese Reports). Would you rely mainly on an affiliate program and use the traffic of competing sites?

Any posts about the infoproduct creation process would be great.

Thanks for your replies.
Nadav

Hey John,

1. I wanna know more about "rewarding yourself" stuff, can you tell me what kinda stuff you buy to reward yourself?

And I wanna know the brand name of massage chair you bought, I wanna buy it too.

*I also want to know how people in this blog are rewarding themselves too, can u guys start talking about it?

2. Is MaxProfit coming out soon?

I'll get back to work now

bye bye

I second Nadav's suggestion...

"1. Can you explain in details about your due diligence research when looking to create new infoproducts?"

What steps and tools are you using for research?

Aloha,

Jason

I "3rd" that original comment. Please do explain the tools and strategies that you use to effectively test a market's profitability/rabidness before investing money into it.

Thanks

John, I've NEVER bought a single product or service from you, but want to give you a MAJOR endorsement... just using the free stuff you have posted on your blog, I went from earning about $3 a day on my website, to about $15 a day... in less than a month! I think you're a genius, and once I have enough money to start investing in educational products, I'll JUMP at the chance to pick up some of your material! -Johans

Could you let "the cat out of the bag" about
your February 28th post titled - "I have a
strange feeling" ?

You were talking about how people are skimming
more and more and you "eluded" to some new
sales letter models.

- Jigar

I agree with the initial(#1 Comment) post.

Derrick

Hey John,
How about more on creating an effective viral campaign. Most viral products die before they even get out of the chute. Maybe share some secrets there.

Willie

How about some test results? What have you tested latley that has increased your conversion rates? That's always great information.

Maybe you could get an endorsement deal with that massage chair company. They could rename it and call it the "John Reese Edition." I think it would actually sell too... lol

Chad

I'm with Jigar... I've been feeling like a strip bar patron ever since you posted about the new sales letter model... Teased and frustrated...

; )

Matt

How can I get aleast one person a day to buy from my web site before it closes? I could use 1 billion buying customers at $20.00 each.

If you help me with this John, I will buy 200,000 of your product for promoting this web site.

I would give it as a free gift to anyone buying at least $100.00 worth of products from my store. At least the first 100,000 or 200,000 customers. Thanks for your valable time.

Hi John,
Would you please give some information about building a VRE website. The actual step by step instuction is what I need. There is a lot of confusion and fog about this subject behind my
request. Suggestions about a site builder or perhaps templates to use would be great.
Thank you very much John.

Reginald Block

I agree with Reginald's comment about VRE above... Researching potential VRE markets, getting a reseller account, adsense placement, keeping content fresh, etc. How about "A Day in the Life of John Reese," (for the newsletter) with an emphasis on time management? Strategies to get more out of 24 hours and success tips...

Other ideas...How not to get burned/ripped off when dealing with programmers (and outsourced content creators). How about some tips on copywriting? Copywriting advice is ALWAYS appreciated. What is John Reese's opinion on the Vincent James book promoted by Gary Halbert? Does John Reese do offline direct mail marketing?

John,
Just got the 3 CD update to the course...what a great shot in the arm!

BTW you need you check out your blog archive for a special gift someone named Lev Pyotr left all of us to enjoy (****WARNING**** PORN AHEAD)...it's found on
http://www.marketingsecrets.com/blog/archives/000037.html

John,

I really enjoy hearing your business and marketing philosophy in general and your observations about how to do business, live life and reward yourself. (e.g. overdelivering, offering value, focus)

You are truly a wise soul! In summary: "John Reese's Words to Live By" or "Reese's Lessons to Live By"

Thanks for your products!

Hi John.

Same thing what Jigar and Derrick posted. But we know, like you said: patience, patience. :)

Should we look forward to any more posts???

Is there a forum anymore. I tried a password and did not work. could not get a new one since it asked me for info I did not have..user name.
I see nothing here on blog for june /july. Is this not where folks go to?
Someone please respond. Thx ahelsel@comcast.net

John,

Do know what to write in your blog? Try answering the questions people send you or ask you. Each time you talk to a client on the phone, write down what they asked you and use it as a topic for a blog, an article and a service. Its worked to help me grow my small business marketing services by leaps and bounds.

Hi John,

Kind regards,

Hi John.. Sure would love to know ALL the tactics you used to make a cool 1 million dollars in 1 day. Really something step by step.

Hi John,
Maybe I am a bit behind the times here but, I just tried a "blog and ping" on a couple of web sites. I have been boging and pinging my head off for the last few days with zipo results. As far as I can tell the majority of view are ME going to see if it all works.

Is this all a big scan or does it really work? If it works, am I missing something?

Regards SG.

If this is MY blog, give it back to me, right now !!!

Hi,

This is more for those of you who have posted comments here and not really for John.

I'm sure John will get back to posting stuff in the Blog once summer is over.

However, a lot of the things you want him to cover here are things that are probably considered too valuable to simply give away in a Blog post. I know, John certainly delivers much higher quality content for free than just about any other marketer out there, but I think even he has to limit what he publishes in public places like this. Especially now that he's publishing "The Reese Report".

Most of what you guys are asking for is stuff that will likely be published in "The Reese Report" sooner or later - and some of it has been already.

If you're not a Reese Report subscriber you're REALLY missing out! True inner-circle no-B.S. top secret tools and tactics for the 21st century eMarketer... Amazing stuff :o)

John, keep up the good work! Thanks a billion...

Regards,
Joe

This is MY blog, My blog. John said it first, it's MY blog.

I'm hoping John will come back and add more to the blog...this is great stuff.

Hi John...I purchased Traffic Secrets from you.

Just read your newsletter. I know how you have been feeling. Our
circumstances have been different. But I've been through similar periods in
different times in my life.

I tend to be a very deep meditative type of person. I know all about
'searching' ... not to diminish your experiences, though.

I believe so much is about 'choices'.. what we choose to take into our
minds. Others would have reacted differently from the way you did. For you,
it got your attention and you began to ponder the deeper questions.

I'm an internet nobody, John.. and it's ok, but my life has been
extraordinarily special for many reasons. It was also extremely hard for a
long time at a very young age. I never had a childhood because I had to
'grow up' so very fast. Again.. that's ok.

I've learned many, many good lessons from life.

I would tell you, or anyone, the following... and I've found this to be
absolutely true throughout my life. It is this... we all choose our
experiences through our thoughts. I know you've heard this. Many people
have... but it's so 'unprofound' that the thought comes and goes...quickly
forgotten.

There's a higher part of us that knows what it is doing. Our simple
conscious self gets too caught up in daily life. We do have a navigator
inside us. Learn from it because it's always letting you know what's going
on. The trick, John, is to learn to listen and then learn to trust it.

Our daily thoughts become our future life. That's true, pal... and I would
never bullshit you.

Ken

PS... may I suggest? don't feel sad for your lost ones. they are not lost..
be happy.. they have just been reborn and are continuing their existence in
a different reality. you may see them again, somewhere else. just be happy
for them, John.... bye.

Hi John

Certainly 2005 has been a tough year for you & your family. But you will find that the memories of your loved ones will be treasured ones that no amount of money can buy, nor can anybody take from you.
Kindest regards
Jase

John, any advice for a non-profit?

Hi John..I have really much respect to you. I've also read your 10292005 report and I am really glad to tell you that it gave a great impact to my life. I pursue for more wealth now because I want to let people around me to enjoy themselves.

My age is 16 from Malaysia, and hoping to learn more from you. I am confirmed nailed to being an Internet Marketer, and I felt that I'm the most lucky person in Malaysia for reading your report.

I will try to become one of the richest people in Malaysia, really need to thank you once again.

John,

What happened to the posts?

Randy

Too bad this blog isn't active anymore - I thought there was useful information! By the way - for SEO marketers, the Google PR update happened over the weekend.

Hi John,

I have just stumble across this site at the 2006. I am your subscriber of "MarketingSecrets.com". Thinking want to purchse your product, "Traffic Secrets". I am sad that I found this posts has been stuff with full of spam. Wish you can see it and delete those spam.

Hi John,

first of all, thank you for everything. You've been my motivation and a source of some really excellent ideas.

You are "the real deal" and if there's a thing you recommend, I follow your advice.

My question to you is what mind set do you have when you create a viral campaign? I'm about to launch one myself end of march and would appreciate some of your thoughts.

I know that a superior product is key, but what I think really separates a hugely successful campaign from a moderately successful one is a combination of real understanding of what people want and the ability to subtly motivate them to pass your "virus" on to others (friends...).

So John, how do you do it? How do you create such a buzz in practically no time at all. Is is possible for someone not as well known as you to have the same or at least similar success if he/she applyes your tactics?

Be specific if you can :-)

Thank you again,

sincerely,

Blaz Banic

Hi John,
What do I want to know more about?
Who would you say is/was your mentor or the most influential person in your life?
I look forward to your reply.

All the Best,
