Maximize What You Have Before Starting A New Business

One of the biggest mistakes online entrepreneurs make is to try and crank out more web sites to increase their income. It's a lot easier to boost your income by taking a look at what you already have...

It's much easier for you to make more money from a successful site you already have than for you to start an entirely new site, and that's a FACT.

Starting a new site is no guarantee that you will generate a single dollar of additional profit. Yet, improving ANY part of an existing site that is making money is a GUARANTEED way to get a pay raise.

So before you go off and try to start a new moneymaking Web site, spend some time looking at your currently profitable sites and figure out how you can improve them. Test some site copy changes, add some additional offers (even if they are just affiliate links) to your backend sequence, and work on generating more leads for your existing "money machine" so it makes even more money.

Don't fall into the trap of thinking "more businesses = more money" as that's not always the case. It's 100 times easier to make more money from your existing business than to start a new one.

The Event Of The Year Is Ready To Rock...

The Event Of The Year is ready...

In less than a month my private workshop will take place in Orlando, Florida. A small group of lucky entrepreneurs will be glued to their seats for 3 full days as I unleash a "fury" of advanced Internet marketing strategies and tactics that I have developed during my past 14 years of marketing online.

I am extremely excited about the workshop as it will allow me (for the first time ever) to share some things I've been quietly guarding. And when people in attendance learn about them, they'll quickly realize why I've been sitting on them -- because they are VERY profitable.

I have a few seats left if any of my blog readers are interested in attending. But you need to hurry as they will be gone very soon. Gary Halbert (who will be attending the event as a student) recently promoted the workshop to his own list -- and he did it with no affiliate link (heck, there's no affiliate program for the workshop anyway) just because he believes that much in what I have to teach people.

For everyone that's going, I look forward to seeing you there!

RSS Now Available...

At least I think so. Try the "RSS Syndication Link" over on the left under "Resources." Let me know if that works or not.

I Have A Confession To Make...

I invented the "click" and now I'm suing to own the Internet.

At least that's what a special news report has to say.

I will find out who is responsible for this and there will be hell to pay.

LET THE WAR BEGIN!

I suggest everyone go to Paul's "Buy Paul A Beer" donation page and buy him a beer. But make sure to include a note that you would like him to pour it over his monkey head.

Make Money From Your Prospect's Progress

Recently I made an entry about "end result" being all that really mattered in marketing. That end result is usually a solution to a problem or a solution to a desire. Now let me tell you how you can get paid from another angle of providing solutions...

HELPING THEM TRACK THEIR PROGRESS.

Let's take an example...

Someone (your prospect) wants to lose weight and get into shape. So you sell them a workout guide for building muscle and burning fat, and you could also provide them with a cookbook of healthy recipes.

This would be enough as a solid solution to that problem (losing weight). But now let's talk about how you can make more money from that same prospect...

You can sell them a "progress tracker" of somekind. Such as a web-based application that tracks their daily diet, their weight by day, when and how many exercises they've done, etc. This "tracker" has tremendous value and can help that customer succeed with the problem/desire you are helping them solve. This tracker, for this example, could also be software that runs on their PC. (Personally, I would prefer doing something web-based and charging an ongoing subscription fee.)

Let's take another example...

Your prospect wants to improve their garden. So you sell them a guide on having an amazing garden and you teach them all the secret methods for quickly and easily growing their favorite vegetables.

But it doesn't have to stop there. You can also sell them a tracker of somekind. Like a web-based service that would track how many seeds they've planted. What dates they planted the seeds. What the measurements were of their plants on any given day. What the effects were when using certain fertilizers or plant supplements, etc. How big their tomatoes were. And so on and so forth.

People that are interested in a solution will not only buy the expertise from you but they will also buy a way to track their progress in most cases. So get busy and sell it to them.
