...I had run my health into the ground. I had gone 3 months with sleeping only every other night and was spending every waking moment in front of the computer.

I ended up in the Emergency Room because my body was stressed to the point of my organs trying to shutdown...

...my health was in serious danger. I'll never forget what the Emergency Room doctor said to me...

"John, have you ever heard the phrase, 'working yourself to death'? Well... you've almost done it."

I was in really bad shape. When the body gets stressed it will produce some excess stomach acid. Mine had produced so much that it rose up to my esophagus, burned a hole in it, and was seeping into my body.

Definitely not good.

And, oh yeah, at this time I was all of 25 years old. (I'm 33 now.)

I had to take medicine for awhile to regulate my body and I was fortunate to have been able to repair the damage I had done. I learned to relax more and stress a lot less.

My health has been much better ever since that happened. It was a scary lesson to learn.

But you must be thinking...

"At least you were able to make a lot of money during all that hard work!"

Not exactly.

I first drove myself into over $100,000 of debt.

I was trying everything back then. I was buying a lot advertising online. I was investing in Internet-related business opportunities.

I was doing all kinds of crazy risky stuff...

...You see, back then no one knew anything. There were no Internet Marketing courses or "How To" guides you could buy. Very little had been "figured out" yet.

I also made several huge mistakes -- some I thought I'd never recover from.

Like the time I sold a domain name (.com address) for $1,000 to make an easy $900 profit...

I was on top of the world until I learned the guy that bought it turned around and sold it for $1,000,000 IN CASH.

That was enough to make anyone throw up their hands and just "quit" this game. Believe me, I almost did...

But I kept working hard. Very hard. No matter what I was going to find a way to succeed online.

Many days and many long hours later, I slowly but surely started to "see" things differently...

...because I started testing things. Lots of things. I started to notice patterns and trends...

...I started to learn "cause and effect" of what happened online when you did certain things.

I eventually started making money from my findings. Then I increased those results and made even more money. It started to grow like a snowball...

I started to really enjoy marketing on the Internet. I continued to work very hard and test even more things...

...and I have tested little things online ever since.

I turned things around financially...

...I paid off that mountain of debt that I never thought I'd be able to repay...

...and I was able to go on a vacation I had always dreamed about. I went to Europe for two months and got to visit 19 different countries. It was the best trip of my life.

I was also able to realize one of my biggest dreams.

To not only buy a brand-new Porsche 911 Turbo, but to have one custom-built for me from the ground up. To have a truly unique, one-of-a-kind sportscar. (It has over 500 horsepower.)

I had turned things around, but more importantly, I had realized I'd never have to work a "real job" ever again...

...and my family would never have to worry about money.

Money is something that, unfortunately, most people have to worry about their entire lives.

So it seems that I had no worries in the world at this time, doesn't it?

BZZZZZZZ. Wrong again.

You know, I never really wanted to tell anyone that I had "figured things out" because I wanted to just keep my mouth shut, continue working feverishly in the dark corner of my bedroom, and keep depositing money hand-over-fist into my bank accounts...

...and that's exactly what I did for many years. (Can you blame me?)

That is UNTIL...

The Emotional Thrill Of Making Big Money
Eventually Wore Off And Left Me Feeling All Alone...

The money was great. It was a lot of fun watching it pour in day-after-day...

...but eventually the fun wore off.

Suddenly I found myself very unhappy. I felt, well, lonely.

It became very hard on me to dedicate so much of my time to something that I couldn't share with anyone around me...

...because no one understood what I was doing "on the Internet."

My family didn't really know what I did "for a living."

My friends didn't understand it either...

...and after awhile, it really started to bother me.

Do you know what it's like to be really passionate about something but have no one to talk about it with?

This is exactly what happened to me. So I started longing to talk to others about marketing online.

I wanted to talk to others that were, hopefully, as passionate as I was about Internet marketing.

So I made a big decision...

...I made myself go to my first Internet Marketing seminar.

This was a little over a year ago.

Making myself go to that seminar was one of the best things I would ever do in my life. I quickly bonded with other online entrepreneurs, and for the very first time I felt like I was in my "element."

I had a fantastic time.

But I realized something during that seminar...

...the other attendees didn't know 90% of what I knew about using the Internet to make money.

And what amazed me even more...

...the speakers at the seminar didn't either.

It was then, and only then, when I actually realized how rare my knowledge about the Internet really was.

I read Napoleon Hill's Think And Grow Rich many times before that moment. So I knew all about "abundance" thinking...

...but, I guess, I had never given something to someone and experienced that process before.

...and it kept coming back to me many times over.
