The New Income.com “War Room”

I’ve just made a major move that goes along with my new commitment of only focusing on Income.com (my new company) for 2007 and beyond…
My War Room strategy area has just been christened with a massive Income.com sign. This room, made entirely of whiteboard material (so you can write on any wall) has been used for me to plan and execute tons of different business projects that I’ve been involved with.
In this very room just a few short months ago, Brad Fallon, Andy Jenkins, and Mike Long came for a visit and we worked to create the entire pre-launch and launch strategy for StomperNet — before it was even called “StomperNet.”
Many multi-million dollar ideas have been created in this very room. For example, I created the entire plan for my own massively successful VRE business here. I also helped take a Real Estate services company from $300,000 in annual sales to over $7,500,000 and growing — and it all start by having some meetings in this room.
I’ve also had tons of killer strategy sessions in this room with numerous successful marketers.
There’s a lot to this room that you can’t see in this photo. This room is a lot longer. You can’t see the main whiteboard areas where most of the brainstorming is done; you can see a little of it on the far right wall.
The area under the Income.com logo is my Wall Of Fame.
When people come for a visit I have them sign the wall. It was just a fun idea I had and it’s been neat to see all the cool signatures add up. Just some of the names on the wall so far… Dean Jackson, Frank Kern, Ed Dale, Stephen Pierce, Armand Morin, Brad Fallon, Andy Jenkins, Mike Long, Harlan Kilstein, Jeff Walker, Jeff Johnson, Jeff Mulligan, Jason Moffatt, Rob Cowie, Dave Mizrachi, Jason Potash, Keith Baxter, and several others.
I am a huge believer in PLANNING and BRAINSTORMING. So much so that I spend more time doing that than anything else. Planning is where all the money is made.
I suggest you set-up a “planning” area within your work space. It will be the best thing you ever do. You can buy whiteboards at most office supply stores. Whiteboards are great for scribbling down ideas and working through challenges. I don’t suggest using a computer for planning and brainstorming. I think it’s more powerful if you WRITE with your hands — I think it connects better with your brain and helps unlock your creativity.
If you’re wondering where I got the material to create the whiteboard walls, I got it from a company called WallTalkers.
